Statement concerning Bishop Peter F. Christensen

On Saturday, June 8, Bishop Peter was admitted to the hospital with neurological symptoms stemming from back pain. He is doing well and has been downgraded from the ICU to general care. Tests are going well.

Bishop has asked for your prayers as he recuperates. Thank you for offering your prayerful support and for respecting his privacy as he recovers.

Bishop Peter was looking forward to ordaining the two new permanent deacons this past Saturday but had to be absent due to his condition. Bishop congratulates Deacons Ramey Uriarte and Miguel Serna and is grateful for the beginning of their diaconal service to the Church.
