K-5 PE Teacher (Part-time)

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate physical education lessons that encourage students of all abilities to participate, grow in confidence, and enjoy being active. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging PE lessons for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade
• Promote physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all students
• Support the development of motor skills and healthy lifestyle habits in young children
• Organize and supervise games, activities, and school sports opportunities
• Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and feedback
• Support and uphold the Catholic mission and values of St. Joseph’s Catholic School

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification and certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to create fun, structured, and developmentally appropriate PE activities
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, and inclusion
• Willingness to contribute positively to the Catholic life of the school
