JOB SUMMARY

MINISTERIAL CHARACTER:

Catholic Charities of Idaho (CCI) is a religious organization founded by the Catholic Diocese of Boise to provide direct social services to those in need. CCI helps the Bishop of Boise fulfill Christ’s mission in Idaho. Positions at CCI help to extend the ministry of the Catholic Church in particular ways. Therefore, the Catholic Charities of Idaho employee in this position is related to and assists the Catholic Church in the performance of its ministry and thereby engages in ministry for the Church.

Regular office hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

 

At Catholic Charities Counseling Services, we seek to enable our clients to overcome emotional and/or behavioral obstacles that prevent them from realizing their full potential. Our staff members bring compassion and clinical experience to the services provided to our clients. We offer in-person counseling at our Boise office counseling center and other areas of the State via tele-health. We are committed to serving our clients with a Christian understanding of the person, marriage, and family life, as well as each individual’s culture, race, and religion.

 

CCI is looking to hire a caring professional to provide individual, couples, and family counseling.

 

The new team member will work on an independent level in accordance with their level of licensure, participate in a collaborative team environment, attend and participate in regular staff meetings, training, and individual supervision. develop and maintain professional relationships with CCI staff and uphold Catholic social teachings.

 

The individual will be a Licensed counselor in the State of Idaho, with the ability to work in-person and a flexible schedule including some evenings and the ability to speak and write in English required, Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $26.85 - $33.00 per hour
