Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct after-school band rehearsal activities
- Teach and reinforce proper instrumental technique, ensemble performance skills, and music reading
- Prepare students for performances at concerts and community events
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and disciplined environment consistent with Catholic values
- Monitor student attendance, behavior, and progress
- Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding studnet development and performance schedules
- Maintain and care for instruments, sheet music, and other band equipment
- Encourage student participation and enthusiasm for music and performance
How to Apply
Qualifications:
- Experince in music education or instrumenal instruction
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Ability to work with students in grades 5th through 8th
- Respect & alignment with values and mission of Catholic education
