Uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and stewardship, modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church in daily work.
Partner with the Principal to understand the school's evolving needs and priorities, adjusting advancement strategies as those needs shift.
Work alongside the Principal, Pastor, and school staff to keep advancement efforts aligned with the school's broader goals.
Plan, organize, and carry out the school's annual fundraising efforts, including the annual fund, auction or gala, and any special campaigns the school relies on.
Build and maintain relationships with donors, parishioners, alumni, and benefactors, keeping donor records accurate and ensuring gifts are acknowledged promptly.
Lead admissions and enrollment: respond to inquiries, meet with prospective families, give school tours, and guide families through the enrollment process.
Plan and coordinate community building and recruitment events that connect the school with families and the parish.
Represent Holy Family throughout the community, building awareness, partnerships, and goodwill.
Develop and coordinate marketing and outreach materials, including flyers, brochures, newsletters, and event promotion, that reflect the school's mission and identity.
Manage the school's social media presence, including Facebook and Instagram: taking and posting photos, creating content, and responding to comments and messages.
Track and report on progress toward fundraising and enrollment goals.
Attend faculty and staff meetings as needed.
Serve as liaison with the Website Administrator or Student Systems coordinator to keep the school's website and online presence current and accurate.
Professional Requirements
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable speaking with families and groups.
A self starter who is organized and able to manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.
Willingness to travel locally as needed.
Ability to maintain professional confidentiality at all times.
Willingness to follow the Code of Conduct and the policies of the school and the Catholic Diocese of Boise.
Proficiency with office software, email, social media, and basic website or database tools.
Participation in school faith activities such as Mass, prayer, retreats, and service projects, along with school sponsored events and community activities.
A practicing Catholic or person of faith with a desire to model the teachings of Jesus in attitude and example while upholding the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.
Must pass a background check and complete Safe Environment Training in accordance with diocesan policy.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in development, fundraising, marketing, admissions, or nonprofit management.
Experience with donor or constituent management software.
Familiarity with Catholic school or parish communities preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming, relational approach.
Experience with FACTS SIS (Student Information System) is a plus.
